Crash
My immediate response to IF's weekly topic was Dorothea Lange's photograph of Florence Owens Thompson. It was taken in the winter of 1936, during The Great Depression resulting from the stock market crash of 1929. The "Migrant Mother's" eyes have always evoked strong emotions in me...
