Riding the Wind

I read recently that by copying a painting or attempting to emulate an artist's style you get a feel for that artist and become a better artist yourself. I admire the artist, Bonnie, for her style and compositional ability. My painting above is a copy of her piece titled 'Wind Riders'. Hers was done in pastel and very large; mine is acrylic and 3' x 4'.
